
Brigham Michaud
Senior Associate Attorney
Brigham Michaud is a Senior Associate Attorney with a decade of specialized experience in property tax appeals, and related incentives and abatements. He represents owners of a broad range of commercial real estate assets—including big‑box retail, strip centers, multifamily developments, hotels, industrial facilities, and LIHTC properties. Admitted to practice in Indiana and Ohio, he has also managed appeals in Washington, Utah, Nebraska, Michigan, Kentucky, New Mexico, Alaska, West Virginia, and Oregon.
Brigham has litigated cases before the Indiana Board of Tax Review (IBTR), the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals (BTA), and the Washington State Board of Tax Appeals (WSBTA), in addition to county boards across multiple jurisdictions. Drawing on extensive valuation and appraisal expertise, he counsels clients in evaluating favorable settlements and when litigation is necessary, always with the goal of maximizing his clients tax savings.
Brigham also serves on the IndyBar Tax Section Executive Committee and speaks at CLE programs on issues related to real estate taxation.
